Data Scientist - Athens, Hybrid (3-2)

A leading technology firm is looking for a Data Scientist to turn complex, multi-source data into predictive models and strategic insights that shape how the business moves forward. The role has opened as the company deepens its investment in data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

The Role

You will gather, clean and preprocess data, build predictive models and work alongside data engineers and product managers to make sure findings land with the people who need to act on them. In your first six months, you will take ownership of at least one end-to-end modelling project, from raw data through to a clear, visualised recommendation that influences a real business decision. You will be the person who makes the numbers mean something.

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of data science experience building and deploying predictive models in a business environment
• Strong proficiency in Python or R with solid experience in machine learning and statistical modelling
• Proven ability to gather and preprocess data from multiple, often messy sources
• Experience creating clear visualisations and reports that communicate findings to non-technical audiences
• Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across data engineering and product teams

Nice to Have

• Experience with big data tools such as Spark or Hadoop
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
• Background in a product-led or technology-first organisation
