Senior Data Scientist - Athens, Hybrid (3-2)

Our client is a leading retail company using data to drive smarter decisions across product, marketing and operations. The role exists to bring dedicated data science capability to a business that sits on rich datasets and wants to unlock more value from them.

The Role

You will collect, analyse and model data from multiple sources across the organisation, turning patterns into recommendations that influence real business decisions. In your first six months, you will get close to the key data assets, deliver at least one end-to-end modelling project and build relationships with the product and marketing teams who will act on your findings. You will be the person who makes the business more confident in the choices it makes.

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of data science experience building statistical models and algorithms in a business environment
• Strong proficiency in Python or R with solid experience in data analysis and machine learning
• Proven ability to ensure data accuracy and integrity across multiple data sources
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting findings in a clear, accessible way
• Detail-oriented approach with a strong instinct for spotting patterns that matter

Nice to Have

• Experience in retail, e-commerce or consumer-facing industries
• Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Background working with product and marketing teams on performance optimisation
