IT Manager

Our client is a family-owned building materials group with production plants, warehouses and showrooms across Greece and the Balkans. After years of steady growth, they are ready to modernise their technology and are hiring an IT Manager to lead the way.

The Role

As IT Manager, you will lead the IT department of around 8 people, covering infrastructure, ERP, end-user support, security and vendor management.

You will set priorities, manage the IT budget and work with management to align technology with business goals.

In your first six months you will assess the current IT landscape, present a three-year IT roadmap and kick off the most important projects, including stronger cyber security and ERP improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop an IT team of around 8 people
• Oversee infrastructure, networks, Microsoft 365, ERP, end-user support and security
• Set IT priorities and manage the IT budget
• Manage vendors, contracts and support agreements
• Align technology with business goals together with management
• Assess the current IT landscape and deliver a three-year IT roadmap
• Lead key projects, including cyber security improvements and ERP enhancements
• Travel to plants and international subsidiaries when needed

What You'll Bring

• 8+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 managing an IT team or department
• Broad technical knowledge across infrastructure, networks, Microsoft 365 and security
• Experience managing ERP systems and business application projects
• Strong vendor, contract and budget management skills
• A hands-on leadership style and the ability to explain technology to non-technical managers

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP, SoftOne or Microsoft Dynamics
• ITIL, PRINCE2 or PMP certification
• Background in manufacturing, construction or distribution

€3,500 – €4,800 Gross / Month, depending on experience, along with a company car, an annual bonus and private health insurance for you and your family.
