IT Security - Athens, Hybrid (3-2)

Our client is a leading cybersecurity firm protecting organisations from an increasingly complex and fast-moving threat landscape. The role exists to strengthen their security operations as client demand grows and the regulatory environment under NIS2 and DORA continues to raise the bar.

The Role

You will assess vulnerabilities, implement security controls and manage incident responses across a varied and technically demanding environment. In your first six months, you will conduct a thorough security audit, put the most critical protective measures in place and establish an incident response process the team can execute under pressure. You will be the person the organisation depends on when something tries to get through.

What You'll Bring

• 4+ years of experience in IT security or cybersecurity roles
• Hands-on experience implementing firewalls, encryption and access controls
• Proven ability to monitor network traffic, identify anomalies and respond decisively to incidents
• Solid understanding of vulnerability assessment methodologies and security audit practices
• Calm, methodical approach to incident management in high-pressure situations

Nice to Have

• CISSP, CEH or equivalent security certification
• Experience working within NIS2 or DORA compliance frameworks
• Background in a dedicated cybersecurity firm or managed security services environment
