On behalf of our client, a leading international Vehicle repair and maintenance company, we are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator.

About the role

Will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and improving the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of systems and networks.

The role involves close collaboration with the IT team and other departments to support business operations and deliver efficient IT services.

Your day to day

Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and network infrastructure.
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of IT systems.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access policies (Active Directory or similar systems).
Implement system updates, patches, and upgrades.
Monitor and maintain backup procedures and support disaster recovery processes.
Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.
Support the integration and operation of enterprise systems such as ERP and business applications.
Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures.
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when required.
Participate in infrastructure improvements and IT projects.

Must have

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, networking, and system administration.
Experience with Active Directory, virtualization technologies, and backup systems.
Understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently and effectively.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a dynamic environment.
