On behalf of our client, a leading Greek real estate development and project management firm focusing on urban property development, we are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join their team in Athens.

 

A day in the life of the Mechanical Project Engineer

As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will take ownership of preparing cost estimates and technical offers, coordinating project teams, and supporting the smooth execution of construction projects, ensuring high-quality delivery on time and within budget.

Your day-to-day

  • Prepare costings and technical/financial offers for new project bids
  • Coordinate technical studies, construction details, and financial aspects with the project team
  • Organize and support Environmental Certification processes
  • Prepare preliminary measurements for construction works
  • Maintain and develop quality assurance processes and support market research
  • Monitor contractual obligations of designers, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Prepare and manage contracts and subcontractor certifications
  • Collect data for as-built documentation and schedule updates
  • Keep daily project files and calendars up to date

What you will need

  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • 20+ years of experience on construction sites (preferably residential or hotel projects)
  • Good knowledge of CAD
  • Strong English language skills
  • Experience in project management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
