A day in the life of the Mechanical Project Engineer
As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will take ownership of preparing cost estimates and technical offers, coordinating project teams, and supporting the smooth execution of construction projects, ensuring high-quality delivery on time and within budget.
Your day-to-day
- Prepare costings and technical/financial offers for new project bids
- Coordinate technical studies, construction details, and financial aspects with the project team
- Organize and support Environmental Certification processes
- Prepare preliminary measurements for construction works
- Maintain and develop quality assurance processes and support market research
- Monitor contractual obligations of designers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Prepare and manage contracts and subcontractor certifications
- Collect data for as-built documentation and schedule updates
- Keep daily project files and calendars up to date
What you will need
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 20+ years of experience on construction sites (preferably residential or hotel projects)
- Good knowledge of CAD
- Strong English language skills
- Experience in project management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
