Mid/Senior Software Engineer - Athens, Hybrid (3-2)

Our client is a prominent tech company building high-performance applications that operate at scale and demand engineering rigour at every level. The role exists to bring mid to senior engineering capability to a team that takes code quality, system architecture and knowledge sharing seriously.

The Role

You will work across the full software development lifecycle, from architecture design and code development through to testing, deployment and production support. In your first six months, you will take ownership of at least one complex project, contribute meaningfully to architectural decisions and begin establishing yourself as a mentor for junior developers on the team. You will be the engineer who raises the standard around them simply by being in the room.

What You'll Bring

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong track record in mid to senior level roles
• Solid experience designing and developing scalable, reliable software solutions
• Proven ability to conduct code reviews and maintain high quality standards across a codebase
• Experience collaborating on system architecture with cross-functional engineering teams
• Natural inclination to mentor junior developers and support their growth

Nice to Have

• Experience with system integration and deployment pipelines
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and modern DevOps practices
• Background in stakeholder-facing technical roles

What's in it for You
