Supporting over 2 million people across multiple markets, their 200+ person engineering team is expanding to drive the next phase of technical strategy, user growth, and platform scalability.
The Role
You’ll act as a technical leader for the First & Last Mile engineering group, bridging the gap between complex backend services, mobile client architecture, and critical business impact across onboarding, authentication, and subscriptions. In your first six months, you will architect systems that enable rapid experimentation across the full stack, define technical roadmaps, and elevate the engineering culture to accelerate user growth and engagement.
What You'll Bring
- Proven track record of technical leadership, preferably in a mobile-heavy or full-stack capacity.
- Extensive experience designing, architecting, and scaling data-intensive systems.
- Deep hands-on experience with A/B testing frameworks, experimentation platforms, or growth loops.
- Comfort working fluently with both strongly and dynamically typed languages across the entire stack.
- Strong communication skills to clearly translate high-level business goals into actionable technical strategies for both engineering teams and executives.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in a high-growth Fintech or personal finance application environment.
- High level of pragmatism with a proven balance between building for long-term scale and optimizing for short-term speed of learning.
