PreSales IT Consultant

On behalf of our client, an award-winning international global software solutions provider with over 30 years of experience in the FinTech industry, we are seeking a Senior Presales IT Consultant specializing in the Greek public sector.

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of public services by identifying and designing innovative software solutions. Your technical expertise and strategic mindset will contribute directly to the enhancement of public sector operations, fostering innovation within central government and public authorities.

What You Will Do

• Solution Design & Documentation: Lead the analysis, design, and documentation of comprehensive, innovative, and scalable technology solutions that align with public sector client objectives and requirements. This includes understanding client needs, analyzing technical requirements, authoring proposals, and crafting compelling solution architectures. 
• Sales and Relationship Management: Enthusiastically seek out new sales opportunities by shaping and proposing solutions for public sector clients, and developing strong relationships within involved accounts.
• Presales and Bidding Cycle Management: Take full responsibility for the full presales and bidding cycle, including collecting requirements, technical presentation, proof-of-concept, solution design, feasibility study, and tendering.
• Technical Advisory: Serve as the customer’s go-to person and trusted advisor for all technical queries, while handling customer concerns in an appropriate manner.
• Technology & Market Acumen: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in public sector IT.
• Expert Consultation: Demonstrate a deep understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud computing, cybersecurity, microservices, and data analytics to design cutting-edge solutions that meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
• Product Selection: Search for and select appropriate hardware and 3rd party software solutions/products.
• Information Coordination: Coordinate and collate all necessary information from external and internal sources.

What You Will Bring

• Experience: At least 5 years’ professional experience in Presales, Consulting, or Delivery within the Public Sector, demonstrating a deep understanding of the sector's unique challenges and requirements.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT / Software / Engineering or related studies. A Master’s degree in a relevant field will be considered a plus.
• Language Skills: Very good knowledge of Greek and English language.
• Proposal Expertise (Strongly Desirable): Knowledge and experience of the tender submission procedures through the Greek National System of Electronic Public Procurement (ESIDIS) are strongly desirable.
• Track Record (Plus): Proven hands-on experience in Bid Management, Bid Writing, and Presales (IT Project Management or IT Consulting) will be considered a plus. Experience in reputable vendors successfully delivering software projects within the Public Sector will also be considered a plus.
• Domain Expertise: Experience in researching client-specific business needs and architecting appropriate solutions.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, analytical, and presentation skills , including excellent verbal, written, and presentational skills regarding technical information, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Soft Skills: Curiosity, critical thinking, and adaptability to unique situations. Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to perform under tight deadlines. High levels of responsibility, trustworthiness, and confidentiality.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team with constant cooperation and interaction.
