Project manager - Civil engineer

On behalf of our client, a leading Greek real estate development and project management firm focusing on urban property development, we are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Project Manager – Civil Engineer to join their team in Athens.

A day in the life of the Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you will take full ownership of planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects from concept to delivery, ensuring that every project is completed on time, within budget, and meets the highest quality standards.

Your day-to-day

• Oversee and manage project studies, timelines, and budgets
• Coordinate all project stakeholders: designers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
• Organize and supervise the Environmental Certification process
• Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Review and approve reports, plans, and project documentation
• Draft and monitor contracts, certifications, and supplier/subcontractor compliance
• Support the creation of as-built plans and schedule updates
• Maintain project files and calendars on a daily basis

What you will need

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 20+ years of experience on construction sites (preferably residential and hotel projects)
• Strong knowledge of CAD
• Proven experience in Project Management
• R&D experience is a plus
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
