A day in the life of IT Project Manager
The IT Project Manager is supposed to to lead and coordinate information technology projects in the public sector. The role focuses on the successful delivery of IoT solutions, information systems, and modernization initiatives that support public administration and citizen services.
Your day-to-day
- Timeline and Milestones: Ensuring projects are completed within specified timelines and achieving key milestones.
- Budgetary Constraints: Adhering to the allocated budget and efficiently managing resources to avoid cost overruns.
- Quality Standards: Maintaining high-quality standards in project deliverables and processes.
- Communication Protocols: Following established communication protocols to ensure effective information flow within the team and with public sector stakeholders.
- Regulatory Compliance: Complying with industry regulations and legal requirements relevant to the project.
- Risk Management: Proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to minimize project disruptions.
What you will need
- BSc and/or MSc in Engineering, IT, Computer science
- Proven experience (3+ years) managing complex IT (and IoT) projects with a focus on Public Sector projects
- Familiarity with information systems, digital transformation and public administration workflows
- Experience with public procurement frameworks, contracts, and project reporting obligations
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in the English language, both oral and written, is essential
- Available for frequent travels & short-term missions
