QA/QC Electrical Manager (MEP)
Electrical EngineerA highly regarded multidisciplinary engineering and consulting firm with a regional legacy of delivering large-scale infrastructure, commercial, and urban development projects is currently seeking a QA/QC MEP & Electrical Manager to join its site-based supervision team.
Known for their end-to-end consulting services and quality-driven execution, the company is overseeing the supervision of a complex project where technical precision in MEP and electrical systems is critical to success.
Role Overview
The QA/QC MEP & Electrical Manager will lead quality assurance across all mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and fire protection systems, ensuring conformance with design specifications and compliance with international engineering standards. This role requires day-to-day site inspections, reporting, coordination with contractors and supervision staff, and implementation of corrective actions where required.
Key Responsibilities
MEP & Electrical Systems Oversight

Review MEP and electrical system drawings to ensure accuracy and alignment with design standards for:

HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems

Electrical panels, lighting networks, and grounding systems

Conduct daily inspections of:

Cable insulation resistance and electrical connection torque settings
-
HVAC performance and control systems
-
Operation of plumbing pumps and fire protection equipment

Electrical panel installations, including circuit labeling and cable classification

Non-Conformity Handling

Immediately issue directives to the MEP/E supervision team to resolve technical non-conformities

Ensure adherence to corrective timelines and follow-up on pending resolutions
Reporting & Documentation

Compile detailed daily reports capturing testing results and critical deviations
-
Submit weekly reports assessing system-wide compliance and proposing strategic improvements
-
Maintain a real-time log of inspection findings to support documentation accuracy and transparency
Ideal Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
-
Minimum 7+ years of relevant QA/QC experience in MEP and electrical systems
-
Deep understanding of HVAC, electrical infrastructure, plumbing, and fire protection standards

Proficient in using testing tools for electrical systems and mechanical installations

Experience in supervision, inspections, and reporting in a construction setting

Strong analytical, communication, and report writing skills in English

Organized and proactive with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams
