As part of its ongoing digital transformation strategy, the Bank continues to invest in modernizing its ATM, Card, and Self-Service Banking platforms, delivering highly available, secure, and innovative banking services to customers across the country.
To support this journey, they are looking for a Senior ATM & Operations Specialist to join their ATM Operations team and take ownership of the administration, performance, security, and continuous evolution of the Bank's ATM Switching and Self-Service Banking ecosystem.
The Role
You'll become part of a highly specialized technology team responsible for the end-to-end operation, administration, and continuous improvement of the Bank's ATM, ATM Switching, and Self-Service Banking platforms.
Working closely with Infrastructure, Networks, Information Security, Cards, Digital Banking, and external technology vendors, you'll ensure maximum platform availability, coordinate complex technical incidents, support strategic modernization initiatives, and contribute to the delivery of new ATM and electronic payment services.
This is a hands-on technical role that combines platform administration, operational excellence, project delivery, security, and vendor management, providing the opportunity to work on business-critical banking systems in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and continuously optimize the Bank's ATM, ATM Switching, and Self-Service Banking platforms, ensuring maximum availability, performance, scalability, and resilience
- Monitor platform health, coordinate major incident resolution, perform capacity planning, and manage software deployments, upgrades, security patches, and environment configurations across Development, UAT, Disaster Recovery and Production
- Participate in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of ATM and electronic banking services, identifying automation opportunities and supporting infrastructure modernization and migration initiatives
- Lead and coordinate technical activities across cross-functional IT teams and external technology vendors, ensuring successful project delivery, production readiness, and compliance with agreed timelines and quality standards
- Maintain secure platform operations by ensuring compliance with PCI-DSS, internal security policies, regulatory requirements, vulnerability remediation, Disaster Recovery planning, and Business Continuity testing
- Monitor operational KPIs, analyze transaction and platform performance trends, produce management reporting, and recommend service improvements that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience
- Act as the technical subject matter expert for ATM Operations and Switching platforms, collaborating closely with Infrastructure, Networks, Information Security, Cards, and Digital Banking teams while promoting knowledge sharing and operational excellence
- Contribute to technology planning by supporting budgeting, vendor management, solution evaluations, and investment proposals for platform enhancements, modernization, and future digital transformation initiatives
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in ATM Operations, ATM Switching, Electronic Banking, Payment Systems, or a similar senior technical role
- Strong experience supporting ATM and Self-Service Banking platforms
- Solid understanding of ATM Switching technologies, transaction processing systems, and electronic payments
- Good knowledge of Linux/UNIX administration and troubleshooting
- Experience with application servers such as Oracle WebLogic, Apache Tomcat, JBoss/WildFly, or similar
- Working knowledge of Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server databases
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls, VPNs, and Load Balancers
- Strong understanding of PCI-DSS, cybersecurity principles, vulnerability management, and secure system administration
- Experience with Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management processes
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound technical decisions in complex production environments
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting NCR, Diebold Nixdorf, Hyosung, or similar ATM platforms
- Experience with ATM Switching solutions such as ACI Base24, Postilion, Compass Plus, or OpenWay WAY4
- Knowledge of ISO 8583 messaging, EMV standards, and Card Management ecosystems
- Experience with Shell, Bash, Python, or PowerShell scripting
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Nagios, or SCOM
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, automation, and high-availability architectures
- ITIL Foundation, PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certifications
- Exposure to virtualization, cloud technologies, AI, or digital transformation initiatives
