Our client is a media and technology start-up powered by creativity and innovation. The company works with leading developers and publishers in the global games industry, providing specialised cybersecurity and technology solutions tailored to the individual needs of its clients.

As the company continues to expand its technology capabilities and invest in its own AI-powered products, we are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Cloud Platform to join the team and take ownership of both the customer-facing platform and the cloud infrastructure behind it.

This is a genuinely full-stack engineering role with significant infrastructure ownership, offering the opportunity to work across Go, React, AWS and distributed systems while helping shape an early-stage product as it grows.

The Role

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Cloud Platform, you will own a significant part of the platform around the company's next-generation cybersecurity product.

Approximately half of your work will focus on the product itself: a Go backend and React/TypeScript frontend used directly by customers. You will work on the challenges of building and operating a multi-tenant SaaS platform, including authentication, access control, permissions, accounts and auditability.

The other half will focus on the AWS infrastructure that powers the platform. You will own infrastructure as code and help solve the operational challenges involved in running long-lived and asynchronous workloads reliably in production.

You will join at an important stage of the company's growth, with the opportunity to influence architectural decisions, engineering practices and how the platform evolves as the product, team and customer base scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain customer-facing features across the Go backend and React/TypeScript frontend
  • Design and build scalable services for a multi-tenant SaaS platform
  • Design and maintain PostgreSQL schemas and data models
  • Build and operate asynchronous and distributed workloads using queues, retries and resilient processing patterns
  • Own and improve AWS infrastructure supporting the platform
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code
  • Work with containers, IAM, networking and other core AWS services
  • Collaborate with engineers and cybersecurity specialists to translate product and security requirements into robust technical solutions

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with meaningful ownership of production systems
  • Strong hands-on experience with Go in production environments
  • Solid experience building and operating applications on AWS
  • Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code
  • Experience working with containers, IAM and cloud networking
  • Strong understanding of asynchronous and distributed systems
  • Experience working with queues, retries, idempotency and failure recovery
  • Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including database and schema design
  • Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals and a focus on maintainable, well-structured code
  • Experience taking ownership of systems beyond simply implementing individual features
  • Excellent written and spoken English, particularly in a technical environment where written documentation is an important part of decision-making

Nice to Have

  • Experience building and operating multi-tenant SaaS platforms
  • Experience with Python
  • Previous experience in cybersecurity or security-focused products
  • Experience with AI-powered products or platforms
  • Familiarity with security, identity and access management concepts
  • Experience working in an early-stage or rapidly growing technology environment
  • Experience with observability, monitoring and production performance optimisation

What's in for you

€5,000 – 6500 Gross / Month, on a B2B basis, with a flexible hybrid working model. You’ll have the opportunity to work at the forefront of AI-driven autonomous cybersecurity, contributing to the development of an innovative penetration testing platform while collaborating with experienced AI, software engineering and cybersecurity professionals.

The role offers exposure to a diverse range of international gaming and technology projects, within a fast-paced, multicultural and innovative environment, together with ongoing training and professional self-improvement opportunities.
