A leading construction company, one of the most reliable and specialized players in the Greek market, is looking for a Senior Mechanical Site Engineer to support the delivery of a large-scale industrial project in Attica (Lavrio).
The role
This role is ideal for experienced engineers who thrive in complex construction environments and want to take ownership of site supervision, quality assurance, and project execution. You will monitor and supervise on-site construction activities to ensure smooth project execution, manage materials and supplies, and resolve technical or operational issues during construction. You will be responsible for quality control and compliance with technical specifications and industry standards, overseeing construction processes and maintaining high standards across the site, while managing timelines to ensure project delivery within agreed schedules. You will ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and site policies, communicate with the Project Manager by providing updates on progress, risks, and budget adherence, and coordinate with engineers, contractors, suppliers, and technical teams for seamless execution. Finally, you will perform quantity take-offs and measurements for materials and works, and prepare reports and documentation for clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in construction site supervision, ideally in industrial projects
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and project workflows
- Solid understanding of quality assurance and health & safety standards
- Experience in measurements, cost estimation, and reporting
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
