Mechanical Engineer - Athens, Hybrid (3-2)
Mechanical EngineerOur client is a leader in the manufacturing sector developing mechanical systems and components that meet demanding quality and safety standards. The role exists to bring solid engineering capability to a product development team that moves from concept to production and needs someone technically sharp at every stage.
The Role
You will design, develop and test mechanical systems and components, working closely with manufacturing teams to make sure what gets designed can actually be built to spec. In your first six months, you will contribute to at least one active development cycle, from prototype testing through to production handover, and establish yourself as a reliable technical problem-solver when issues arise on the floor. You will be the engineer who keeps quality and precision non-negotiable.
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing or product development environment
- Solid hands-on experience designing and developing mechanical systems and components
- Experience testing and evaluating prototypes for functionality, safety and compliance
- Strong technical calculation and simulation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with manufacturing teams and resolve production issues
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA or AutoCAD
- Familiarity with FEA or other simulation tools
- Background in quality management systems or ISO standards
