Senior M.I.S Developer

Our client is a well-established organization operating in the financial services sector, leveraging data, automation, and technology to support critical business operations. Their Information Systems team develops and maintains the internal applications and data solutions that enable efficient reporting, process automation, and operational excellence across the business.

As part of the continued growth of their IT & Reporting function, they are looking for a Senior M.I.S Developer to join their MIS team and contribute to the development and enhancement of data-driven solutions and business applications.

The Role

You'll become a key member of the Information Systems team, working on the development and maintenance of SQL Server databases, SSIS packages, and internal C# applications that support business-critical operations.

Working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams, you'll design and optimize data processes, build reporting solutions, and develop desktop applications that improve efficiency and streamline internal workflows.

What You'll Bring

• 4–5 years of professional experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
• Strong experience developing and maintaining SQL Server stored procedures
• Experience building and maintaining SSIS packages
• Working knowledge of C# and Windows Forms application development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manage complex datasets
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have

• Experience with Python
• Exposure to Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
• Knowledge of debt collection or legal business processes
• Experience supporting business reporting and operational data solutions
• Familiarity with financial services or data-driven business environments

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server stored procedures and database objects
• Build, enhance, and maintain SSIS packages for data integration and automation
• Develop ad-hoc data extracts and reporting solutions to support business departments and clients
• Maintain and enhance existing Windows Forms applications built with C#
• Develop new internal applications that improve operational efficiency
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain existing database and application solutions
• Collaborate with business users to understand reporting and data processing requirements
