Senior Network & Security engineer

On behalf of our client, an innovative IT Solutions provider, we are looking for a Senior Network & Security engineer to join its technical support team.

A day in the life of a Senior Network & Security engineer

You will be an expert in diagnosing and solving technical issues. You must be driven, hard-working and passionate about providing technical support. You are committed to producing high-quality services and delivering to deadlines. Good communication skills are a must and a good sense of humor is a bonus!

Your day-to-day

• Participate in company’s security services offering to customers (planning, design, implementation and fine-tuning of Security solutions),
• Meet professional practice standards and demonstrate value and competence in core company’s service areas like endpoint protection, email protection, enterprise mobility management, privileged access management, advanced threat protection, identity and access management, systems auditing, endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions, patch management and vulnerability management
• Document new installations, perform troubleshooting and resolution action,
• Support of existing and new customers,
• Stays updated regarding new technology through industry news

What you will need

• 5+ years’ experience in relevant
• Technical knowledge of Microsoft Internetworking, including Active Directory, Exchange,
• Good knowledge and working experience with common internet protocols (DNS, HTTP/S, SMTP, SNMP, etc),
• Good knowledge and working experience with common enterprise technologies (Radius, Ldap/s, Kerberos, SAML)
• Technical knowledge of security tools and solutions (e.g. PATCH MANAGEMENT, VULNERABILITY MANAGEMENT, SIEM, EDR, SOAR, MAIL SECURITY, PAM, MDM) will be much appreciated
• Good Knowledge of Linux and Microsoft operating systems,
• Excellent command of MS Office, including Visio and Project
• Experience with Firewall products such as Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco
