Systems & Cloud Engineer

On behalf of our client, a leading organization in the energy and utilities sector we are seeking a talented Systems & Cloud Engineer to join their team.

Your day to day

• Be a key member of the Systems Engineering and Cloud Services team, supporting the transition from traditional IT practices to hybrid environments.
• Administrate and monitor systems and cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and availability.
• Collaborate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to maintain the security and integrity of network infrastructure.
• Gather business requirements, design, document, and implement IT solutions in alignment with organizational standards and objectives.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure effective operation of IT systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Implement changes and upgrades following change management processes, minimizing operational risk.
• Monitor connectivity and infrastructure availability, tracking relevant KPIs.

What you need to stand out:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as an IT Systems Infrastructure and Cloud Engineer in complex, high-demand enterprise environments.
• Proven experience with third-party Cloud service providers (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Ability to translate business requirements into secure, effectively implemented technical solutions.
• Strong understanding of complex IT landscapes and administration.
• Experience with DevOps projects and cloud platforms, with a focus on MS Azure.
• Knowledge of AI infrastructure design.
• Relevant certifications in MS, virtualization, Linux, and/or cloud platforms are a plus.
• Fluency in English and Greek (verbal and written).
