 Our client is a leading organisation in the energy and utilities sector based in Marousi, operating large-scale critical infrastructure and enterprise IT environments. The role of Systems & Cloud Engineer is open due to ongoing modernisation of IT systems and the transition from traditional infrastructure to hybrid and cloud-based environments.

The Role

You’ll join as a Systems & Cloud Engineer, becoming a key member of the Systems Engineering and Cloud Services team, supporting the organisation’s shift toward hybrid IT and cloud-enabled operations.

Your focus will be on ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of complex enterprise systems and cloud infrastructure, while helping design and implement secure, scalable IT solutions aligned with business needs.

In your first six months, you’ll work closely with internal IT teams and external vendors to understand the existing infrastructure landscape, support cloud and systems operations, and contribute to ongoing migration and optimisation initiatives. You’ll also play a role in improving monitoring, KPI tracking, and operational stability across hybrid environments.

What You'll Bring

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in IT Systems, Infrastructure, or Cloud Engineering in complex enterprise environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud service providers (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
  • Solid understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure administration and hybrid environments
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based architectures
  • Ability to translate business requirements into secure and scalable technical solutions
  • Experience working in DevOps-oriented or cloud transformation projects
  • Strong understanding of system monitoring, performance, and availability management
  • Fluency in Greek and English (written and verbal)

Nice to Have

  • Certifications in Microsoft technologies, cloud platforms, virtualization, or Linux
  • Knowledge of AI infrastructure design or AI-enabled systems environments
  • Experience working with large-scale regulated or utility-sector environments
  • Exposure to automation and infrastructure modernisation initiatives
