Title: Construction Site Manager – Civil Engineer/Architect

On behalf of our client, a well-established engineering and real estate development group in Athens, we are currently looking for a Construction Site Manager to join their expanding construction team.

 

A day in the life of the Construction Site Manager

As a Construction Site Manager, you will take ownership of leading on-site execution of complex residential construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be the key point of contact on site, coordinating technical teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.

Your day-to-day

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with design, technical specifications, and safety standards

  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, engineers, and project teams to ensure smooth project delivery

  • Monitor project timelines, quality, and budgets, and take proactive measures to address any deviations

  • Review technical drawings and project plans, and resolve on-site construction issues

  • Prepare and maintain reports, documentation, and records for project progress

  • Ensure implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) measures

  • Participate in project planning and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support operational success

What you will need

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture

  • 3–5 years of experience in construction site management or a similar role

  • Strong technical understanding of construction processes and engineering principles

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of 3DS Max, Archicad, and SketchUp is a plus

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project or other project management tools

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills in English

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks on fast-paced projects

  • Strong problem-solving and reporting abilities
