Go Developer, Athens, Thessaloniki, Cyprus, Hybrid (3-2)

Our client is a global fintech and online trading platform providing access to forex, commodities, equities, and other financial instruments. With premises in Athens, Thesaaloniki and Cyprus, the company is growing its backend engineering team to support the development of secure, high-performance microservices powering its international trading infrastructure.

The Role

You’ll join a team of experienced backend engineers building scalable cloud-native services and APIs using modern technologies and distributed systems practices. In your first six months, you’ll get familiar with the company’s microservices ecosystem, contribute to backend feature development, and help improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of core platform services.

What You'll Bring

• Strong commercial experience with Go (Golang) in backend or distributed systems environments
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining REST APIs and cloud-based services
• Solid understanding of SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud Services
• Experience writing clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Strong problem-solving mindset and collaborative communication skills
• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Professional English communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with gRPC and microservices architectures
• Exposure to Terraform or Infrastructure as Code practices
• Knowledge or exposure to GenAI-related technologies
• Experience within fintech, trading, or high-availability environments
