IT Manager, Athens, Onsite

Our client , a company that has been active in the field of water resources management since 2001 and is one of the leading companies in the Greek market, maintaining partnerships with more than 72 municipalities and 101 Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Companies. The company develops software for smart network management and represents over 20 world-class manufacturers of hydraulic and electromechanical components. Due to continued growth and increasing infrastructure demands, the company is looking to strengthen its internal IT operations with the addition of an experienced IT Manager.

The Role

You’ll own the day-to-day management, security, and optimization of Constrat’s IT infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments. You’ll lead systems administration, virtualization, backups, user access management, and IT operations while ensuring maximum system availability and business continuity. Within your first six months, you’ll evaluate and optimize the company’s infrastructure environment, improve monitoring and security processes, and contribute to the modernization of internal IT systems and cloud operations.

What You’ll Bring

• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Windows Server administration within physical and virtualized environments
• Strong experience with Windows Server upgrades, patching, configuration, troubleshooting, and security best practices
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Azure Cloud, Microsoft 365, Hyper-V, and Veeam Backup solutions
• Experience managing virtualization environments, Windows Clusters, and SQL Clusters
• Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, VPN, LDAP, digital certificates, and network administration concepts
• Experience with systems monitoring, automation tasks, scripting, and backup/recovery procedures
• Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service mindset
• Familiarity with IT support processes, ticketing systems, SLAs, and escalation workflows
• Fluency in English
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field

• MSc in a related field
• CCNA or other networking certifications
• Cyber Security certifications
• MS SQL administration experience
