About the Role

On behalf of our client, a leading construction company and one of the most reliable and specialized players in the Greek market, we are looking for a Mechanical (Site) Engineer. The company delivers a wide range of services including construction, fit-out projects, facilities services, and industrial engineering, with nearly three decades of experience in Greece and abroad, serving top-tier clients and organizations.

The primary focus of the role will be on projects at Athens International Airport, while also contributing to additional projects with a more limited level of involvement.

 

What You Will Do

  • Monitor and supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring smooth project execution
  • Manage materials, supplies, and resolve on-site issues during project delivery
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with technical specifications and standards
  • Oversee construction processes, material inspections, and maintain high site standards
  • Manage project timelines, ensuring delivery within agreed schedules
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations on-site
  • Communicate regularly with Project Managers, providing updates on progress, risks, and costs
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment
  • Perform quantity take-offs and measurements for materials and works
  • Prepare client and subcontractor reports and documentation
  • Update ERP systems related to procurement orders and project certifications

What We Are Looking For

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
  • 5+ years of experience in construction site supervision (M/E projects preferred)
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and project workflows
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and health & safety standards
  • Experience with measurements, cost tracking, and reporting
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
