Senior Integration Engineer

On behalf of our client, one of the leading premium brands for shoes and leather goods globally, we are currently looking for a talented & committed Senior Integration Engineer, to join its integration team.

A day in the life of a ‘Senior Integration Engineer’

In this position, your responsibilities will encompass the design and implementation of system integration services, overseeing the entire development process. Your role will extend beyond technical execution as you actively pursue improvement of processes and team knowledge. You possess strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues, in order to translate process requirements to implementation. Mentorship of junior developers, engagement in code reviews, pair-programming, and presentations will also be integral aspects of your contribution.

Your day-to-day

• Design and build robust, scalable and secure integration services
• Manage infrastructure as code for the efficient provisioning and maintenance of cloud resources
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure the reliable and efficient building, testing, and deployment of services
• Oversee cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation of our backend systems
• Work closely with cross-functional colleagues to deliver top-notch solutions

What you will need

• Extensive experience in backend development using C#
• Experience with message queuing ex. RabbitMQ
• Experience with API management ex. Apigee
• Experience with GitHub Actions
• Strong understanding of integration design principles and best practices
• Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles and experience with Terraform
• Experience in managing Azure Cloud infrastructure, and deploying and operating services
• Experienced in configuring and using observability tooling such as Datadog
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and working in a collaborative environment
