Senior Mechanical Engineer (On-site)

About the company

A well-established engineering consultancy with a broad portfolio spanning building design, infrastructure, and technical studies across Greece. The Electromechanical Design Department handles complex, multidisciplinary projects from concept through to construction documentation. This hire responds to sustained growth in the project pipeline and the need for an experienced engineer who can lead studies independently.

The role

You'll take ownership of mechanical studies for building installations for large-scale projects — HVAC, plumbing, and building services — within a team that coordinates closely across disciplines. In your first months, you'll be integrated into active projects and expected to contribute to design decisions, produce technical documentation, and liaise directly with project teams on system integration.

What you will bring

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (TEI or Polytechnic School)
• 6+ years working on building mechanical systems studies — HVAC, plumbing, and building services
• Proficient in AutoCAD for production of construction-level documentation
• Hands-on experience with 4M software (or a comparable building services calculation tool)
• Working English — reading technical specs, writing reports, coordinating with international partners
• Comfortable presenting technical decisions to project managers and non-engineering stakeholders

Nice to have

• MSc in mechanical or energy engineering 
• BIM / 3D design experience 
• Knowledge of Greek building regulations and construction codes

The role is on-site, with private insurance included.
