Site Preparation Engineer

On behalf of our client, a rapidly growing telecom infrastructure company, undertaking multiple projects across Europe, we are looking for a dynamic Site Preparation Engineer who will join their team based in Athens, be responsible for the coordination of telco projects in Athens (FTTH-FTTC-FTTB).

A day in the life of a Site Preparation Engineer 

You will be part of the engineering team in Athens and your main responsibilities will be based on the documentation and Permit engineering procedures of projects in the telecommunications and permit works. This includes organizing and monitoring the entire implementation of the project but also maintaining the communication between the client and the construction team. 

Your day-to-day

• Co-ordination of the Site Surveys Reports (Scheduling, evaluation, submission to the customer, final handshake)

• Prepare project offers according to Site Survey Reports

• Carries out all necessary actions to achieve the maturity of the project before its final implementation.

• Confirms the completion of each installation.

• Collecting, checking, and sending the final output to the client.

What you will need

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical/ Mechanical /Civil)
• 2+ years of working experience
• Strong command of the English language
• Understanding of 4G and 5G telecom networks i.e. elements, protocols, services, configuration, etc would be appreciable
