Blockchain Developer - Athens, Hybrid (3-2)

Our client is a technology company building decentralised solutions at the frontier of blockchain innovation. The role exists to bring hands-on blockchain development expertise to a team pushing the boundaries of what distributed applications can do in production environments.

The Role

You will design and build smart contracts and decentralised applications, working with cryptographic protocols and integrating blockchain solutions into existing systems that need to perform reliably at scale. In your first six months, you will contribute to at least one live dApp development cycle, get deep into the existing architecture and identify meaningful improvements to application performance and security. You will be the person the team turns to when the technical complexity is highest.

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of hands-on blockchain development experience
• Solid experience building smart contracts and dApps on Ethereum, Hyperledger or equivalent platforms
• Strong understanding of cryptographic protocols and algorithms
• Proven ability to integrate blockchain solutions with existing systems and infrastructures
• Sharp focus on performance optimisation and security in decentralised environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with Solidity, Rust or Go in a blockchain context
• Familiarity with DeFi protocols or Web3 development frameworks
• Background in distributed systems or cryptography research
