Requirements Management Tools Admin Engineer - Hybrid (3-2)
Other/EngineeringOur client is a global semiconductor solutions provider headquartered in Tokyo, employing over 21,000 people worldwide, and is hiring for their key engineering site in Athens. The role is open due to significant team growth and the build-out of a newly formed tools division.
The Role
Within this global enterprise, you will join a central Development Tools department of ~35 people (spread across 4 sub-teams) that operates as an internal SaaS provider, supporting 10,000 engineers globally. Stepping into a structurally fresh, 3-person Requirements Management Tools division, you will act as an Administrator Engineer.
Your primary mission is to take ownership of the company's requirements management platforms-specifically Polarion, 3DS, and Jama and consolidate them so they are coherent, continuously monitored, and non-redundant. While you will support end-users and handle troubleshooting via a ticketing system, your role goes much further: you will actively train engineers on best practices, manage high-level tool architecture, and enable seamless integration between various internal company tools and APIs.
What You'll Bring
- Hands-on administration and configuration experience specifically with Polarion, 3DS, or Jama (acting as an admin/power-user, not just an end-user).
- Solid IT tool administration experience, ensuring smooth backend performance and system health.
- Solid technical fundamentals with SQL, JavaScript, or other programming languages (such as Java) for building custom extensions, traceability reports, and facilitating tool integrations.
- Experience managing a ticketing system for 1st-level support and issue resolution.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coach, advise, and offer online training to internal engineering staff.
- Excellent professional English required; Greek work eligibility (Greek citizen) is mandatory.
Nice to Have
- Background in Unix/Windows system administration.
- Exposure to the automotive domain or safety-critical engineering standards (aSPICE, ISO 26262, TISAX).
- Scripting knowledge (e.g., Python) for automating routine tasks.
- Knowledge of Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, or XP.
What's in it for You
€2,500 – €3,500 Gross / Month commensurate with experience with flexibility for exceptional technical profiles, plus an annual performance bonus of approximately 10%
The package includes comprehensive private health insurance (covering dependent family members), life insurance, and Ticket Restaurant benefits.
