Electrical Design Engineer

The Role

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will create the power and automation electrical designs for the company's projects, along with the technical documentation needed for the safe and correct construction and operation of electrical panels and machine control systems. Your work follows each project's requirements and the applicable standards.

You will work closely with the mechanical design, software and manufacturing teams to deliver complete projects, and support the build, testing and commissioning phases. You will also help build and maintain the company's standardized solutions and design libraries.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare power and automation electrical drawings for company projects
• Design electrical panels and machine control systems
• Select electrical equipment and materials according to project requirements
• Prepare technical files and manufacturing documents for panel production
• Collaborate with the mechanical design, software and manufacturing teams for complete project delivery
• Support the construction, testing and commissioning phases from a technical standpoint
• Update drawings after modifications made during construction or installation
• Ensure designs comply with safety standards and certification requirements (e.g. CE), and maintain standardized solutions, design libraries and an organized project archive

What You'll Bring

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Experience in electrical design of industrial systems
• Excellent command of electrical design tools (EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent)
• Good knowledge of automation equipment and industrial electrical installations
• Good knowledge of English
• Good computer skills
• Adaptability to new ideas, innovation and change, and a strong team spirit

Nice to Have

• Experience with automation systems and industrial installations
• Basic knowledge of PLCs or control systems
• Knowledge of a second foreign language
