Electrical / Renewable Energy Engineer

Our client is a consulting engineering firm operating in the energy and infrastructure sector, specializing in renewable energy projects including photovoltaic (PV) plants, wind farms, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and medium/high-voltage electrical installations. The role exists due to the company’s expansion in renewable energy project design and consulting services across Greece.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for supporting the design, evaluation, and technical documentation of renewable energy projects, working across PV, wind, BESS, and grid infrastructure developments. 

You will contribute to engineering studies, technical designs, and project documentation, while collaborating with internal teams, public authorities, and external stakeholders to support successful project development and licensing.

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering within renewable energy projects
• Degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Energy Systems
• Professional license as an Electrical Engineer
• Hands-on experience with PV, wind, BESS, and MV/HV substations design or studies
• Strong knowledge of electrical standards, regulations, and installation codes
• Excellent command of English
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD 2D
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Greece

Nice to Have

• Experience with PVsyst for solar project design and simulation
• Experience with PVcase or similar renewable energy design tools
• Exposure to grid connection studies or energy consulting projects
